The forecasts are estimates

Every figure on the map is a prediction made by a weather service, not a reading taken outside, and some of them will be wrong. Elseweather is for deciding where to spend a weekend. Don’t use it to decide anything where being wrong is dangerous, like flying, sailing, or heading up a mountain. Your national weather service publishes forecasts and warnings meant for exactly that, and those are the ones to trust.

Elseweather Plus

Plus is a subscription that extends how far ahead the map can look. It renews each period until you cancel it, and you cancel it through Apple, in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, rather than anywhere in this app. Apple takes the payment and Apple handles refunds, so there is nothing on my end that can charge you or pay you back. The price and the exact terms are shown before you buy.

Things will change

The app leans on a weather service and a small server, and neither is promised to run forever. Features may move, the source behind the forecasts may be swapped for a better one, and this page may be rewritten when they are. Nothing here takes away a right you have where you live.

The licence

The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard licence agreement for App Store apps. That agreement covers the rest of the usual ground, and it applies unless a developer replaces it, which this one hasn’t. It’s worth a read if you want the full version.
